Packaging for pickled foods

Pickled or fermented cucumbers and cabbage are most often packed in PET/PE or PA/PE laminates; the packaging can be transparent – showing the product inside, or white PET/PE or PA/PE can be used.

Paper combined with the above materials is an increasingly popular choice. Finished laminate can be offered in different thickness.

Where packaging is not done on automatic packaging lines, we offer ready-made doypacks in the form of a convenient stand-up pouch featuring a handle string for multiple opening and closing. The package also has an “easy open” notch to make opening the bag easier.

It is possible to use matt foils or to apply “Paper Touch” varnishes, matt varnishes or UV barriers that improve optical and physical properties of finished packaging.
