POPW.01.02.00-20-0032/20 “Internationalisation of EWADRUK STRĘKOWSKI SPÓŁKA JAWNA, through introduction of a new business model”

The objective of the project is to improve competitiveness and internationalization of EWADRUK STRĘKOWSKI SP.

 

Specific objectives include:

  • developing exports to selected target markets,
  • developing contact network and expanding the base of overseas contractors,
  • building recognition of the company on the international market.

 

The objectives will be achieved by implementing the following measures:

  • Participation in 3 fairs as an exhibitor,
  • Participation in 7 economic missions on the French, German, British, Dutch, Lithuanian and Ukrainian markets,
  • Purchase of consulting services, separate for each of the target markets, which will include search, selection and then establishing contacts with overseas partners to move to the stage of trade negotiations,
  • Purchase of consulting services as assistance in obtaining certifications necessary for the planned internationalisation,
  • Purchase of fixed assets in preparation for the internationalisation of company’s business,
  • Purchase of information and promotion services directly associated with the implementation of the business model.

 

Planned project outcomes:

  • increase in revenue from export sale of products;
  • new overseas contracts;
  • improved recognition of the company on overseas markets.

 

Project implementation period: 01.01.2021 to 31.12.2022.

POIR.03.02.02-00-0147/16 “Implementation of R&D results in the field of UV-protected packaging”

OBJECTIVES:
The applicant is directly breaking down the barriers of provinces regarding peripherality, development gaps as well as low level of innovation and entrepreneurship by implementing two of the three objectives of the programme, i.e.

Objective 1: Competitiveness through innovation

Objective 2: Entrepreneurship through innovation

The objective of the project is to implement a technology patented by the Applicant for the production of internationally innovative multilayer packaging foil laminates with local UV protection as part of the company’s activity. Implementation of the investment measures will enable the Applicant to launch production of new packaging products, featuring the following properties:

  • Blocking the penetration of UV radiation,

  • Securing a food product while still being able to see inside the package and see the product,

  • Preserving the freshness of a food product over a longer period of time,

  • Extending the shelf life of food products,

  • Eliminating negative effects of UV radiation.

Implementation of the innovative technology will enable the company to offer new packaging products and will also bring about additional benefits, i.e. reduction in production time, reduction of production costs, reduction in production of waste, minimisation of workmanship defects in the product, lower cost of order delivery, reduction in the quantities of materials used.

Given the aforementioned advantages, both in terms of products and processes, it will be possible to significantly increase the level of competitiveness of the company and to strengthen its position on both domestic and European markets. As a result of the implementation of new products to the company’s commercial offer, it will be possible to meet high expectations of individual customers and attract new customers, both at home and abroad.

RPPD.01.03.00-20-0154/17 “Launch of production of paper-foil laminates at PPHU “EWA” Strękowski Sp. J”

DESCRIPTION:
The investment involves introduction to the sales offer of PPHU “EWA” Strękowski Sp. J., a new, innovative product in the form of a paper and foil laminate, obtained as a result of research and development works. The project provides for expanding production machinery stock by adding a new machine (laminating machine for the production of paper and foil laminates). The main objective of the project is to increase the competitiveness and innovation of PPHU “EWA” Strękowski Sp. J. in the regional and domestic packaging market as of 2018.

OBJECTIVES:
The general objective of the project is to increase the competitiveness and innovation of PPHU “EWA” Strękowski Sp. J. in the regional and domestic packaging market as of 2018. This objective will be fulfilled as a result of expanding the technological base of the enterprise. The general objective will be achievable through the implementation of specific objectives, i.e.:

  • diversification of the company’s sources of revenues by expanding the sales offer with paper and foil laminates in 2018
  • improving innovativeness of the company by introducing a new product in the form of paper and foil laminate to the company’s sales offer in 2018
  • improving innovativeness of the company by implementing the results of commissioned R&D works into production as of 2018
  • improving innovativeness of the company by acquiring a modern machine for production of paper and foil laminates in 2018.

Implementation of the investment will contribute to the main business objective of the Applicant – improving the competitiveness and innovativeness of PPHU “EWA” Strękowski Sp. J. in the regional and domestic packaging market as of 2018.

Apart from its impact on the competitiveness of the company, the investment will also affect the competitiveness of the economy. The applicant will contribute to technology transfer to the economy. The acquired equipment will enable launching a product that currently in unavailable on the regional and domestic market, which is a paper and foil laminate.

POPW.01.03.01-20-0011/19 “Implementation of R&D results on the development of new packaging materials and packaging of biodegradable and compostable foils with flexo printing, improving their functional properties”

DESCRIPTION:
This project involves launching production and marketing by EWADRUK STRĘKOWSKI SPÓŁKA JAWNA of a range of new packaging materials and packaging made of biodegradable and compostable films with flexo printing, improving their functional properties. These properties will be achieved through the use of foil and laminate structures developed by the EWADRUK team from biodegradable and compostable raw materials as well as a special biodegradable varnish, developed at the request of the applicant, which improves the UV resistance of the foil. The production technology of new packaging materials is the result of R&D work carried out in cooperation with the Center of Bioimmobilisation and Innovative Packaging Materials, Faculty of Food Sciences and Fisheries, West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin. Introducing R&D results to the applicant’s offer will require a number of investment and implementation activities. Launching production of a new range of products requires the use of new equipment, so the project also covers planned acquisition modern process line making it possible to manufacture products featuring the above-mentioned properties. The project will have a positive impact on the European Union’s horizontal policies, including sustainable development and equal opportunities.

The aim of the project is to increase the competitiveness and innovativeness of EWADRUK by implementing the results of research and development work, which will enable the company to introduce a new range of packaging materials and packaging of biodegradable and compostable foils with flexo printing, improving their functional properties.

As a result of launching the new project, the applicant will be able to extend its product offer with innovative, sustainable packaging, and thus strengthen its position in the industry both at home and abroad.

Due to implementation of modern technology, the applicant will achieve a distinctive position on the packaging market, becoming a partner for many other companies.
